It is a celebration of femininity just in time for the International Women’s Day next week! The Rochas fall/winter 2016-2017 RTW collection
has some unkempt but very feminine looks that we feel like copying for
the fall and winter seasons, especially the fall. There are some major
trends that we notice in the collection right away as the ready-to-wear
looks are presented on the Paris Fashion Week runway.
As for the cuts of the outfits, we notice a few trends that really
grab our attention and that match with what was expected for 2016. There
are the thigh slits that have been transferred over from 2015, the midi
hems that are the main length to skirts on the different runways this
year, the multiple layers to the dresses, which really add flounce to
any look, the high necklines that help create a longer silhouette, the
long sleeves matched with open shoulders, both of which have been going
strong since the spring, the use of shirts, the slip dresses that are
almost reminiscent of nightgowns and so much more. Plus, there is an
overall permeating feeling of comfort throughout, which really fits into
the year’s general themes when it comes to portraying great fashion.
All in all, this is a gorgeous clothing line and just seeing it helps
life up our moods.
